The Hoymiles HMS-1000 (MPN: HMS-1000-2T) is the perfect microinverter for your balcony power station. The compact lightweight (only 3.2kg) is suitable for solar power production with up to two solar panels with an output of 400 to 670+W each. Just like all other Hoymiles microinverters, it is suitable for long hours of operation and wide PV module application because its startup is very low (only 22V) and the DC input range of operating voltage (16-60V) is extremely wide.

Compared to the previous model from the HM series, the HMS-1000 offers more safety for rooftop solar power plants thanks to quick shutdown and an isolated transformer. The new Sub-1G radio solution enables more stable communication with the Hoymiles gateway DTU.

Optimal reliability

Microinverter systems are inherently more reliable than traditional inverters. The decentralized structure of a microinverter system ensures that the entire PV system does not fail in the event of a fault. Hoymiles microinverters are designed to operate at full power in ambient temperatures up to +65°C (150°F). The housing of the micro-inverter is designed for outdoor installation and corresponds to protection class IP67.

Easy construction

PV systems with Hoymiles microinverters are very easy to plan. There is no need to install cumbersome conventional inverters. Each microinverter can be quickly mounted on the PV mounting stand or directly under the PV module. The PV module connects to the microinverter directly on site, eliminating the risk of people being exposed to dangerously high DC voltage.
