Corrently-Current - Universale Ansicht für Energiedaten

Corrently-Current - Universal view for energy data

Corrently-Current is a user-friendly and open source web interface for visualizing energy data, based on MQTT topics. The visualization is done without complicated charts, but allows using existing tools like InfluxDB and Grafana to create more sophisticated charts. There is already a configurator that allows users to store the data in an InfluxDB.

Interactions in the Corrently Current web interface:

  1. Integrate new data points: Users can easily insert new data points using special wizards. These wizards are customized for each manufacturer and device to make it easier to set up new devices and connect source devices such as sensors and meters.

  2. Creation of own wizards: Experienced developers have the option of creating their own wizards in order to integrate other devices that do not yet have an existing wizard. This allows for a wide range of devices to be seamlessly integrated into the system.

  3. Integration of unsupported devices : For devices that do not have an existing wizard, they can either be integrated directly via the Node-RED Editor of the Corrently-Edge or by connecting to an MQTT broker of the device manufacturer or their cloud solution.

Data export and sharing

The data can be exported from the web interface and shared. However, the export/import only refers to the configuration of the view in the web interface. For a comprehensive analysis of the data, an export option to other systems that uses Corrently-Edge is available. InfluxDB is used to store the time series data, giving users the ability to analyze or further process the data in other formats.

Corrently-Current is a powerful and flexible tool that allows users to easily visualize and customize their energy data. The open source license under Apache 2.0 enables developers to view the source code, use it, modify it and further develop the system. This promotes community participation and the expansion of the range of functions.
