The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partly cloudy and the light intensity is constantly changing.
Why should we use a charge controller?
“The purpose of a charge controller is to prevent the solar panels from overcharging the batteries. We use a pulse width modulation series regulator, it uses a series element that is switched on and off at a variable frequency with a variable duty cycle to keep the battery charge at the optimum voltage point.
