MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
By constantly monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar panels (PV), MPPT technology ensures that every drop of available power is flushed from your panels and harvested for storage. The advantage of this is most noticeable when the sky is partly cloudy and the light intensity is constantly changing.
Why should we use a charge controller?
“The purpose of a charge controller is to prevent the solar panels from overcharging the batteries. We use a pulse width modulation series regulator, it uses a series element that is switched on and off at a variable frequency with a variable duty cycle to keep the battery charge at the optimum voltage point.
